Yo it’s blog update time in this bitch. Things are wildin’ out of control around here. I got 171 unique visitors to the blog this month, which beats my best month ever (February 2013), which only had 74! God damn! That’s some crazy shit! And it’s all because of the Daily Post I suspect. That and my shout out to Richard Feynman. Apparently a lot of people are looking for that motherfucker.
I’m about to change the theme of the blog, not thematically, but the WordPress theme I mean. I don’t get as many likes as I want and it’s either because a lot of people don’t like this shit (which is a-ok) or it’s because you have to open the post in it’s own page to even like or comment. So I’m going to try to get rid of that shit. It’s not ideal because I really like the way this theme looks, but I am writing a lot so things just keep getting pushed down and no one can read my old posts any more and there are some good ones. Ah most of them are a bunch of bullshit. So I thought about just making a new page with links to the three good ones but then I stopped thinking about that.
I might do that later.
I’m just curious how the theme change will affect the number of likes I get, etc. I don’t get a lot of follows from those Daily Post readers. Anybody who would take time to click on random blogs in Daily Post I guess they aren’t hard up for shit to read. What the fucking ever.

Thanks man. Nah this is the old theme. I been looking for a new one for half an hour. I really like this one but I want something that makes readers engage more so that I know more about them. Like if they liked a post instead of just knowing they looked at the blog in general. But I don’t want to pick something ugly or clunky or annoying.
Hmm. I’m not sure which one would be the best for that, but I also kinda like this one. Whenever they release new themes, I like to read over the showcase blurb they have.
Yeah this one’s the hot shit for sure. Good colors, sweet typeface, looks great on my phone, too. I’ll probably end up switching it back anyway.
Does theme matter so much? Don’t become a stat junkie… I looked up that daily post thing because you kept writing about disjointed things. It, as a concept seems a bit counterintuitive to me…sure it makes a blog more ’rounded’ but it’s just an exercise isn’t it? It takes the art and freedom away. I guess it depends what you are training for, but if you want to write, why not write what you want rather than what someone tells you that you should. (unless you want more that 5 views a day, cos I don’t have the recipe for that shit)
Ha too late I am an incorrigible stat junkie. I don’t care so much about rounding out the blog I just want more stats. Yesterday I went from listening to The National all day and night for weeks to Rob Zombie’s album Venemous Rat Regeneration Vender and woke up to it this morning. I’m just having a moment, I’ll get over it. Oh and it probably has a lot to do with my new phone which has the internet on it so now I check my blog stats at least a hundred times a day. Sometimes I truly want to write and sometimes I just want people to read something I wrote.
