There’s nothing wrong with protecting others, as long as you understand the costs.
Well if you’re protecting them from bad guys that’s good, or yourself maybe, or stuff like that. But you shouldn’t protect your closest friends from things that they should deal with and become stronger as a result
Damn. That’s some mature reasoning. I was brought up weird and so was conditioned to think everyone should be protected from anything negative. This strategy causes….issues….
You and me both! I always wondered why I was no good at confrontation, and now I think that it’s because I’m so good at lying that there was never a need to practice confrontation.
